style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In part one of the guide I explained the options you could find in the funnel report of Google Analytics 4, and I spoke about its advantages over the old Universal Analytics funnel.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, in order for this to work, the first thing that we obviously need is an Analytics account\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, in this part of the guide, we\u2019ll learn how to open our first account in Google Analytics 4, and how to implement it on our site by using Google tag manager.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if you already have a Google Analytics 4 account, I suggest that you still go through this guide, because there\u2019s a chance that you\u2019ll learn some new things that you had not yet known.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step One \u2013 Opening an Account<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go into your Analytics account and click on Create Property.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4dfffee5 elementor-widget Web.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Google Analytics 4 it\u2019s possible to connect a number of properties (site \/ iOS apps \/ Android apps) into one property, but in our case, we\u2019re going to connect the regular website:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c110c38 elementor-widget We\u2019ve finished opening our new Google Analytics 4 account.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step Two \u2013 Adding Tag Manager<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the right side of the screen that you\u2019ve now arrived to after creating your new Analytics account, you\u2019ll see a number titled Measurement ID.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you remember the number on the old Analytics that started in Universal Analytics? In Analytics 4 it begins with G.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In my case, that number is G-JS7KRHFTXC.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy the number by clicking events.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here you\u2019ll be able to see, for example, the list of events that are being sent to the Google style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, a report of everything that the user viewed on the page gets sent as an event titled Page_View, which will be sent every time that the user will go to a new page.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This, of course, happens thanks to the tag that we\u2019ve now designated, and if you pay attention closely \u2013 there\u2019s a box in our tag that basically tells the tag manager to send a page view event together with this tag:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I don\u2019t want to get into any technical explanations now, but overall \u2013 the GA4 Configuration determines the designations, whereas the GA4 Event actually sends the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The configuration needs to be sent on all of the pages, whereas the event needs to be sent only when some event takes place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the configuration gets sent in all of the pages anyway, Google allows us to check the \u2018Send a page view event when this configuration loads\u2019 checkbox and to send a page view event in the configuration tag as well, without having to open a new tag for this.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:
