My recommendation is to write and answer them. It will give you a better perspective on the subject you are writing about. It\u2019s totally fine to use others\u2019 insights, as long as you give proper credit. Besides, crediting and inserting <a href=\"https:\/\/backlinko.com\/hub\/seo\/backlinks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">backlinks<\/a> (links from other websites) in your post will <em>increase your ranking<\/em> on search engines.<\/p><h2><strong>3. Build a structure<\/strong><\/h2><p>There are multiple types of blog posts. I\u2019m sure you stumbled on \u2018How-to posts\u2019, \u2018List-Based posts\u2019, and many more. Hubspot provides great <a href=\"https:\/\/offers.hubspot.com\/blog-post-templates?hubs_post-cta=slide&amp;hsCtaTracking=4516aacd-27e3-4683-9ab9-09620f91d7a0%7Cdd890300-c155-48d5-be1e-a4b1fff59644\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post templates<\/a> to kick-off with. Each type has a slightly different structure but, the main principle remains the same.<\/p><p><strong>A good structure consists of:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><u>Intro<\/u>: Let people know what they are about to read. The questions that you asked yourself before, will come in handy here. Who is the article intended for? What\u2019s the problem? How will it solve the questions by reading the article?<\/li><li><u>Body<\/u>: Break down your article into points and labels. Each of these described the different aspects of your article\u2019s subject.<\/li><li><u>Bottom Line<\/u>: A short paragraph on what the article was about. Suggest further actions, recommendations, or other related articles worth reading.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Wait! How long should my article be anyway?<\/strong><\/p><p>That\u2019s the million-dollar question and the answer varies constantly between different SEO experts. Luckily Hubspot\u2019s recent study (<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/marketing\/how-long-should-your-blog-posts-be-faq#:~:text=Ideal%20Blog%20Post%20Length%20for,words%2C%20according%20to%20HubSpot%20data.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">based on 50 most-read blog posts<\/a>), claims that the<em> ideal length for this is between 2,100-2,400 words.<\/em><\/p><h2><strong>4. <\/strong><strong>Prepare a keyword list <\/strong><\/h2><p>Remember we wanted to get our article exposed? Well, preparing a keyword list and integrating it into your article and headlines is where you influence your organic exposure. And with the right keywords, you will <em>signal to search engines \u201cthis content is relevant\u201d.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p><p>Basically, we want to know <em>what <\/em>and <em>how much <\/em>people are searching for specific words or phrases. There are many tools that will help you find this information such as Google\u2019s KeywordPlanner and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.semrush.com\/lp\/keyword-research-b\/en\/?kw=%2Bkeywords%20%2Bresearch&amp;cmp=WW_SRCH_Keyword_Research_EN&amp;label=keyword_research&amp;Network=g&amp;Device=c&amp;utm_content=456596897670&amp;kwid=kwd-18856058169&amp;cmpid=10832119110&amp;agpid=109721352667&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiAnIT9BRAmEiwANaoE1VRZZVbizZQeYiqlk4cgqxBG4x28GA1mA8IaddENU08WGvyA-mZCYRoCZDcQAvD_BwE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEMrush<\/a> keyword research tool.<\/p><p>These tools can also find <em>related keywords, <\/em>thus enriching your article with words and terms you haven\u2019t thought about.\u00a0<\/p><p>There is a \u2018sweet spot\u2019 located between the words and phrases that are highly searched and the ones with low competition. These are the ones you should be after.<\/p><p>Since it\u2019s not always simple to find these perfectly balanced words, many SEO experts recommend going after the low-hanging fruits. In times when everyone is fighting for users\u2019 attention, one complicated sentence might be the end for you, buddy.<\/p><p>Try not to overload your post with fancy words and keep it on eye level. To keep your content fluent and to make sure it is easily readable you can <a title=\"https:\/\/www.paraphrasetool.ai\/\" contenteditable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paraphrasetool.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span id=\"gmail-mt-tracked-link_1686554961840\"><\/span>paraphrase<\/a> your content version online.<\/p><p>Also, frequently break your content to ease the reading. Mobiles shortened the paragraphs even more since the screen&#8217;s area is smaller, so keep pressing the \u2018enter\u2019 after a max. of 2-3 sentences.\u00a0<\/p><h3><strong>The unwritten contract\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3><p><em>Try building anticipation<\/em> &#8211; one of your goals is to make your audience <em>do something, <\/em>like learn more about your company, click on a CTA, subscribe to the blog, and so on.<\/p><p>So, as I see it, I have an <em>unwritten contract<\/em> with you, the reader: You give me your attention, therefore, I will build the anticipation (as much as I can) and give you an extra bonus.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>The bonus for reading my article for that matter is a free downloadable blog post quality checker, which you can download and use for each of your future articles. <\/strong><\/p><h2><strong>8.
