The linking allows Google Merchant Center to pass inventory data to Google Ads, so advertisers can build Shopping campaigns using this data.<\/p>\n<p>Before you begin:<\/p>\n<p>You will need to have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/google-ads\/answer\/1704346\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admin access<\/a>&nbsp;to your Google Ads account to link Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts. If you don&#8217;t have admin access, you can ask the administrator of your Google Ads account to grant you access, or to link the accounts for you.<\/p>\n<h4><b>Step 1: Request link to Google Ads in Merchant Center<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Links are always initiated from Google Merchant Center. You can link multiple Google Ads accounts to a single Merchant Center account, or a single Google Ads account to multiple Merchant Center accounts.<\/p>\n<p><u>To link to your own Google Ads account:&nbsp;<\/u><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your Merchant Center account, under Settings, click the tools icon and then click&nbsp;<b>Linked accounts.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Select&nbsp;<b>Google Ads.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Under \u201cYour Google Ads account,\u201d find the Google Ads customer ID of the account you want to link. You can find the customer ID at the top of any Google Ads page when you&#8217;re signed in, near your email address.<\/li>\n<li>Click&nbsp;<b>Link<\/b>&nbsp;under &#8220;Actions&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To link to other Google Ads accounts:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In your Merchant Center account, click the tools icon and then click&nbsp;<b>Linked accounts<\/b>&nbsp;under &#8220;Settings&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Select&nbsp;<b>Google Ads.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Under \u201cOther Google Ads accounts,\u201d click&nbsp;<b>Link account<\/b>&nbsp;and enter the Google Ads customer ID of the account you want to link. You can find the customer ID at the top of any Google Ads page when you&#8217;re signed in, near your email address.<\/li>\n<li>Click&nbsp;<b>Send link request.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><b>Step 2: Approve link request in Google Ads<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>When a Merchant Center account sends you a request to link, the invitations will appear in the table on the &#8220;Linked accounts&#8221; page for Merchant Center in Google Ads.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign into your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ads.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Ads account.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click the tools icon&nbsp; in the upper right corner of your account.<\/li>\n<li>Under \u201cSetup,\u201d click<b>&nbsp;Linked accounts.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Under \u201cGoogle Merchant Center,\u201d click&nbsp;<strong>Details.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Find the account you want to link. The \u201cStatus\u201d column will say \u201cPending.\u201d Click&nbsp;<strong>View details<\/strong>&nbsp;in the \u201cActions\u201d column and review the request details.<\/li>\n<li>To approve the link, click&nbsp;<strong>Approve<\/strong>. To reject this link, click&nbsp;<strong>Reject<\/strong>.
