What brought you to the field of technology?
My parents are both software engineers, so I guess from a young age I had an affinity for technology, it was always present at home. I have always loved experimenting with new software and trying to figure out how things work behind the scenes. At the same time, unlike my parents, I wanted to incorporate a creative aspect into my career. The crazy growth of digital marketing in general, and its demand in high-tech companies in particular, created an ideal combination of technology, design and creativity for me.
Do you think there is discrimination against women in the industry?
I think that numbers don’t lie, discrimination still exists in every area in life and it will take some time for us to achieve full equality. At the same time, I think that the high-tech field, in relation to many other work fields, sins far less in respect to gender discrimination.
Have you personally experienced discrimination against you in the industry as a woman?
I can only testify for myself and say that I have not experienced any gender discrimination so far. I prefer to take an equal approach on everything that I do in life, unless I have proof on something else. Up to this date, it has worked for me in an excellent way.
